A qualified oenologist, I worked for six months at Château Margaux and six months in the marketing department for Taittinger Champagnes before joining the family wine estate.

My job in the vineyards consists of battling against the natural elements, anticipating the changing, unpredictable weather conditions and adapting the team’s tasks to the best of our ability in order to bring in a healthy harvest.

Every day is different depending on the climatic factors, mechanical problems and more. This constant questioning and adapting forces one to remain humble!

My happiness lies in the vinification, yet it is always accompanied by a hint of apprehension. The winemaker’s function is, after all to dive in and make the wine!

I get as much pleasure from making these wines as I do from drinking them.
